Cercle Brugge partners with SoccerLAB to revolutionise player development and recruitment within youth academy
London – 14th November 2024 – Cercle Brugge has entered a four-year partnership with EDGE10 Group, implementing the SoccerLAB suite to professionalise its youth academy’s player development and recruitment processes.
The partnership aims to provide a 360° view of each player, ensuring their development aligns with the Cercle Brugge DNA while streamlining the club’s recruitment operations.

The Challenge: Fragmented Data and Inefficient Systems
Before partnering with EDGE10, Cercle Brugge’s Youth Academy faced several operational hurdles.
The academy had attempted to build an in-house database for managing medical, performance, and data, supplemented by an external administrative tool.
But as well as being time consuming, separate systems for medical data, performance stats, scouting information, and game analysis prevented the academy from having a complete view of each player’s development.
This decentralised system hindered the Academy’s ability to develop players according to their internal DNA and identify external talent that fit the club’s identity.
The Solution: SoccerLAB Suite Implementation
To solve these issues, Cercle Brugge selected the SoccerLAB system from EDGE10, which centralises all data into one secure, configurable platform. SoccerLAB includes a range of tools, such as:

With the SoccerLAB suite, Cercle Brugge’s coaches can evaluate players based on the club’s specific KPIs for individual positions, performances in games and training sessions, and other important metrics.
